Ishii Steel Ball Co., Ltd. (Brand name: ISC) was established at Furukawa, Kawasaki-shi, as an exclusive precision steel ball manufacturer. Launched production of steel balls for watt-hour meters and ball point pens. Developed this business in both domestic and export markets.

Emphasizing the future of miniature bearings (ultra-small ball bearings), we started researching prototypes and started selling products.

Fujisawa factory is newly relocated.
May 1961
We entered into a partnership with NSK Ltd. for capital and technical sales. Promoted plan for increasing production of miniature bearings.
December 1967
Obtained specification approval of precision ball bearings for aviation instruments from the Ministry of Transportation Aviation Bureau.
July 1969
Acquired JIS display certification.
March 1971
Acquired specification approval for precision ball bearings for measuring instruments from Defense Agency.
April 1972
Established sales office in Osaka city.
January 1973
Along with the increase in demand, NSK Micro Precision Co., Ltd. was established as a wholly owned subsidiary in Matsukawa-machi, Nagano Prefecture. It is called Matsukawa factory.
October 1979
Ishii Steel Ball Co., Ltd. was renamed NSK Micro Precision Co., Ltd. on the occasion of its 30th anniversary.
December 1979
Established sales office in Matsumoto city, Nagano Prefecture.
June 1983
Matsukawa Plant Acquired JIS display permission.
May 1991
